Hoi An is a beautiful World Heritage site, the perfect location to spend your free time.

Volunteer Application

We welcome volunteers from far and wide to come and help our mission in Hoi An, Vietnam. If you are interested in coming to volunteer your time, please complete the application to the right to start the process.

We are currently looking for two types of volunteers.

Cafe and Shelter Volunteers
Long Term Managers

If you love cats and animals, or have experience in the cafe/restaurant business, (specifically vegetarian ideas) and can importantly be independent and help us run a successful business we would love to have you join our team.

We don’t receive any government funds or support, we rely on feeding the cats and sheltering all the animals from kind donations and our own private jobs alone. Your help running the shelter and business will make a huge difference to the cats and future rescues waiting on us.

We require one month minimum stay with us.

Emma Was a great host. Our time working here was honestly life changing and we cannot thank you enough for the opportunity! We had an amazing month! Emma allowed us to be independent and was overall great to work with. We were able to suggest out own ideas and place our own personal mark. The sanctuary is a lovely place to work especially when the sun is out as the house is beautiful and the cats are all so cute! We miss you, Phong and the cats! And we also wish you all the best with the cafe as it continues on into the future!

Emma and Phong are wonderful hosts and they do a great job with their home for beautiful kitties. Their house is a gorgeous and peaceful setting with cats lounging everywhere it’s impossible not to fall in love with them all (especially Henry).
The work is mainly in the kitchen making snacks and drinks and a little bit of general maintenance,sweeping and cleaning etc. The work is not hard and you have free time to visit Hoi An and the surroundings. We had fun creating new food and experimenting with vegan and vegetarian cooking.
We wish you all the best for the future and hope that the cafe is successful. We will miss you both and all the cats (even Luke) a lot.
